Sunny morning.. Allysia Cheptine is ready to work. She felt that today would be a very good day. She woke up a half hour earlier than usual, which gives a longer time to dress up.

Pretty girl of mixed blood of the original Balinese mother and father were bloody Australia has lived in Boston since three years ago. After completing graduate courses at Bay State College she was an apprentice in a firm of publisher. A year ago she was accepted to work in a advertisement company, and she loved her job there.

Today is the six-month review of the job was working after a year there as commercial staff. Allys hoping to get a permanent position as an Executive Assistant who she had wanted. After Linda White stopped three weeks ago, Mr. Hardy has been prepared to replace the actual point of Linda because Allys has the appropriate educational background for the position.

Allys run with confidence in the 15-floors office building. She wore aqua blue colored bag, a matching blouse and black skirt attached perfectly. she also bought a new pair of shoes to match a blouse and a carrying bag. Her long and curly black hair blown by the wind. Allys smile to some of his friends who admired the earrings she wore made her look chick and elegant.

The phone rang at about 09:00 and picked by Allys ... "Becket Industries office of Mr. Hardy .." he said kindly to the headset.

"Hello beautiful." familiar and sexy voice came over the phone. That her lover Val ...

"Hello my love" she said, smiling. "I can not talk long .. Mr. Becket will come to the office today .. What is it?" she says quickly but Allys was happy to hear Val’s voice   that is always missed.

" Just say hello to my best favorite  in the world .." he said sweetly. "How’s the new bid position, dear?"

" I'll call you when I know" Allys smile.

" After that we'll go out and celebrate,won’t it? ..." Val was still talking on the phone line when Mr Hardy's voice calling her name.

" I must go, my Val ... heuuuhhh .... see you " she said a little disappointed.

" Okay, bye" Val laughed hanging.

Valentine Lambert is the love of her life. Canadian  has lived many years in Boston. Graduated from MIT and started  his own business until he actually has a technical consultant kingdom is taken into account in mega Boston. Met him when Allys just arrived in Boston a few weeks. Compared with Denpasar her hometown, Boston is a great city and Allys is exactly not familiar with the ins and outs of transport there .. Today is a beautiful spring in late April. She was in a coffee shop and order a cup of hot chocolate, reading maps train, unconsciously Allys hot chocolate spilled on the floor. When she bent over to clean up her sweater, a man with brown eyes, offered to help.

He introduced himself as Valentine Lambert. Val, that's how he used to call in, order another cup of hot chocolate for Allys. They ended up talking for over an hour. And Allys realized that the coffee shop is owned by Val’s Uncle  , Mr. Teddy. Val helped found the train and explain the procedure of transportation and how to navigate the city. He also gave a business card and asked Allys call if  she need of a guide.

There is something interesting about him. Perhaps because Val knows how to make her laugh or because of his brown eyes that Allys like. Allys is not a woman who laughed easier when she heard a funny story though, but in front of Val, she was as capable of bewitching a lighter to open her mouth.

Three days later they started the first date. Val was great as a professional tour guide and took her all over the city. They did all the touristy things to do in Boston. They even had dinner at a romantic little restaurant in Cambridge overlooking the Charles River, the happiest period of Allys’ life. Since then they have become inseparable. And  it’s nearly three years of time passed.

 " I want to see you in my office in five minutes Ms. Cheptine" Mr Hardy said, wiping his glasses. Allys knew that meant he now had to quickly stood up and rushed to the room Mr Hardy.

" You still want to work in my office replacing Linda?" He asked and was not invited  Allys to sit. They stood face to face.

" I want to, if the position is still available." Allys swallowed. He really liked this job.

" Well, I see that you have some advantages compared to other employees. You always arrive on time and I loved the way you work Ms. Cheptine. You have a good personality."

Allys just nodded.

" I want you to be sure to carry the full responsibility if I give you this position, you will also be in some project work with Amelia on the 8th floor .. She needs your help at 08:00 on  Monday morning and I was able to put Barbra Lee fill your position so far.

" Yes, sir." Allys hoped the sentence she was saying is not too excited.

" Well you will get new business cards from Friday and a raise at the next check .. we've talked about it before... Congratulations" Mr Hardy smiled and patted her shoulder.

" Thank you, sir," she said and walked out of the office with the spirit in her stride.

 Allys contact Val at lunchtime and her lover was saying congrats on his new position.

Val picked her up that night from work and they went to dinner on Newbury Street. During dinner Val asked what she wanted for their third anniversary. Allys felt this was a joke because it happened on September 20 is also the birthday of Val. Val Should  get a gift on his birthday!....

Allys smiled and said that he just wanted something to  make Val happy.

Val rolled his eyes. This is something he has tried every year, a few days before his birthday, he made a plan. But he never successfully done. And every year it's the same. He gave in and let him, Allys and some friends are satisfied watching movies or just a bite to eat at the restaurant.

" You know what makes me happy?." Val took her hand and see Allys eyes emit light.

" What is it, my Val ...." Allys really can not cover his heart flutter every time Val looked into her eyes.

" Yes, but I just want to give something different this year .. How do you like flowers or something?." Val kissed Allys hand tenderly.

" We can do whatever you want .. We can  enjoy a music concert ... ah Val .. I'm already full with gifts that you always buy and you buy whatever you want to me." Allys try to alleviate it because  she thinks that Val has so many gifts given during the period of three years, ranging from a series of beautiful roses to vacation to romantic places .... That night Allys convince Val that she did not want anything, and kiss Val before they split.

" Come on baby ... say what gift do you want?" Val is still on hopes.

" Well .... I would love anything you like ... bye my Val ... "

" Hmmmm ..., it's a different answer from last year and the true." Val said satisfied.

Two days later their anniversary which is also the birthday of Val has arrived. Indeed, a few days after Allys so busy getting the new position but all it brings excitement to her.

She woke up when the  message tone sounds. "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!" . Of course it is an sms sent by Val with red roses photo below the text. Allys  smiled and replied "Thank you, my Val ... and Happy Birthday to you too!"

When she went into the kitchen, she saw a dozen red roses on the table. Larry, doorman definitely let Val go in and put the beautiful roses there. Bouquet of teddy bear and chocolate cup of their favorite coffee shop is on the table. A note on the sidelines of red roses that read "Go to Jillian’s Boutique this morning and tell your name." Make Allys totally confused and read it three times to make sure what is written in the note. No signature. It must be from Val.

Allys was watching the morning show on television for a while and get ready to go to the Jillian’s Boutique  prior to the office.

When she arrived at Jillian's Boutiques, her favorite Boutique , she met Melanie at the counter and tell her name. " Oh you're here to pick up that dress?" she smiled.

" I think so." Allys still confused.

Melanie returned from the back of the store with a box wrapped in pink ribbon. She smiled at Allys and handed her a card.

" What is this?" Allys asked.

" I was just told to deliver it .. may today be the best day   .." Melanie smiled pleasantly and immediately went to help another customer.

Allys went outside and sat on a chair outside the ice cream shop. Allys read the card. It was Val's handwriting. " Forget overtime baby, I'll pick you up tonight " Allys  immediately send an sms to thank him for the dress, but received no reply.

" What did he do?" he thought. Val usually very touchable, and he never get so mysterious. She did not know what was going on and could not wait to find out until Val picked him up later that night.

Allys so busy that day in the office in connection with his new project. No word from Val. She wondered in her heart and started to worry. When met her friend Barbara Lee she tells her fears for the mystery of her lover today.

" Sorry, dear ... in fact, I have to get ready for a date with Jason so I will listen to it tomorrow."

" Oh, you're going with Jason?" Allys cheered by Barbara knows Jason has been dating one of the directors of the TV News chasing her for more than four months. They are a great couple and they love to go out and have fun at the local nightclub.

" See you tomorrow .." Allys went out and she wanted to call Val once again, but suddenly she found that card on her bag… from Val.. hmmmmm…..

Once Allys are in the taxi on the way home she opened the envelope and read the note on the card.

Dear Allys,

Now I hope you know the things I do all day. I hope you like pretty flowers that have been sent. I hope you like chocolate .. it is only a small part of my day delights like to meet you. I hope you had a good day at the office. Go home and put on dresses that I have been bought. The car will pick you up at 08:00.

Allys could not hold back her tears. What a great love of Val to her, one of the most beautiful she had found. She was soon out of the cab and ran to her apartment. She put the box and the cards on the bed and took a deep breath… opened the box and took a very beautiful dress. It is the canary yellow beautiful dresses. Skirts above the knee and soft. Luckily she has the shoes match with the dress. She spun in front of the mirror a few times .. ah .. Val ... I guess this is too much.

At 08:00 Allys right down to the lobby and realized that the car had arrived to pick her up. When she walked outside Chauffer just say hello. "Good evening ... you are so beautiful Ms Cheptine" and Allys get in the car and was surprised to realize that Val have been sitting in… smiled at her with wide open arms.

" Are you through a day of fun, dear?" he greeted Allys with a kiss.

" Yes,  my love" Allys gently kissed his lover.

" Well that's good, because the party has just begun tonight." Val was still touching her skin hugged her and did not let her go. He talked about today, how he prepares all and praised how beautiful Allys in her dress.

As they approached the location of,  the driver pulling the window separated between the front and rear seats, and leave it to Val a box. Val receives the box and sit back to their comfortable position. " Oh, I forgot to give it." he pretended like forgetting to give it to Allys.

" Val, you've pretty much given me ..". Allys said quietly.

A small rectangular box. "Come on, baby .. open it ..!" she said excitedly.

Inside the box was a beautiful diamond necklace and matching earrings. Earrings shaped tear drop shaped dangly. Not too big, not too small but perfect. Teardrop necklace is a single diamond. "Oh, Val ... is beautiful .. thank you very much .." Allys kiss her lover.

" I'm glad you like it, dear." he smiled.

When they got outside Allys think they will be in an outdoor restaurant, She just not sure .. maybe a candle light dinner ... In fact, she was not sure where they are.

A man met them outside. He seems to know Val and asked if they were ready to go. Val put his arm around Allys waist and they followed him. Allys still do not understand ... She can not believe it! They headed to a helicopter!...

" You ready to fly, dear?" Val said and winked.

" Val! ... That's great!" Allys scream. She often fly by plane, but never ride in a helicopter.

They immediately sit inside and wear seat belts. When they lifted off the ground Allys felt herself to be a bit nervous. Val knew it, he grabbed Allys hand and make it feel warm and safe. It was dark outside, but the city lights below them makes everything seem magical ad amazing.

They were in the air about fifteen minutes when Allys said "It's beautiful .... So is it the plan, my Val?" Allys a little shout  to Val and looked his brown eyes..

 " I love you, Allys" Val said the sentence and smiled at her.

" I love you too." and they kissed.

" Honey, can you hear my voice when I asked you to marry me?" Val said suddenly.

" What?" Allys not sure she heard clearly. His eyes crinkled.

" I said,  WILL YOU MARRY ME ALLYSIA CHEPTINE?." He pulled out a small ring box. Val had kept in his pocket earlier.

" OH MY GOD!" Allys scream.

" Uh, I need an answer not a scream." His hands were shaking holding the box.

" Oh ... Oh yeah ... I mean ... of course I want .. I love you my Val" Allys laugh. Val immediately put beautiful ring on her finger. Allys praised the beauty of the diamond ring.

" I'm so glad you said yes, because we're going to New York for dinner." Val affectionate a hug.

They had dinner at one of the exclusive restaurants in New York City. They enjoy a wonderful dinner that night. Val hire a suit room filled with beautiful red color with white candles and they are accompanied by a man playing the piano crooning beautiful music. . it was so romantic…..

" So this is the thing that makes you happy for our anniversary this year?" Allys asked with a smile. She liked the way Val looked in the candlelight ... Flawless.

" I want to be sure that we will remember this day forever, ... So I planned everything as perfect as possible".

" So that's why you did not call me all day? I'm going crazy?" Allys said while eating her dessert.

" Yes, I was thinking something different." Val bent to kiss her.

" But I do not reward you anything." Allys said feeling a little guilty.

" Oh yes, you've done it, dear .. willingness to marry is the most beautiful gift" Val took her hand.

" Oh yeah ... and the gifts you give are also outstanding" Allys eyes sparkled.

" Do you like it?" Ask Val.

" I love you!"

" I love you too."

They spent the night in New York, and when they returned home it was time to plan a wedding, they decided in late April, when the roses bloom and the flower buds appeared, four years after they met. And yes ...., Mr Teddy’s coffee shops still waiting for them to sit and knit love there.
